With his secondary school years spent at both Auckland Grammar School and Prior Park College, Bath, England, his education was finished off with a Diploma in Hospitality Management, creating the perfect platform of understanding what is required to provide outstanding service and marketing management.
David then spent many years working with Ray Barker at Barkers Men’s Clothing in Newmarket, their “flagship” store. As a commission-based salesperson in a competitive environment he quickly became the top salesperson for the company. His easy manner along with his skills in communication and negotiation came to the fore here balancing consultations between both husbands, wives, men, women and wallets! (if you can sell clothing to men in the 1990s you can sell almost anything!).
The transition to Real Estate was a natural progression. Anyone can sell a house in a good market, but to get the best price possible as the market changes takes experience and strong negotiation and communication skills. This balancing act takes place in the most high pressure moments that are contained in selling what is generally a person’s most valuable asset, their home.

This is the second time we have listed and sold with David and Jennifer and we couldn't have been more pleased! Both times we received multiple offers after the first open home weekends.
